Switching off

1. Press and hold down the ON/OFF pushbutton [1] for more than two seconds. The buzzer sounds
intermittently.
2. The status indicator [2] switches off and the UPS stops powering the loads connected to the
output.

Battery test

The battery test can be completed, after programming using the optional management software,
during mains operation in the following ways:
- automatically;
- every time the UPS is switched on.
The test is carried out without forced battery operation. If the test fails, there is no interruption of
the output voltage.

RS232 interface

The UPS has a standard RS232 interface [4] for connection to a computer using a serial cable.
Free software is available for the following functions:
- to display all operating and diagnostic data in case of problems;
- to set special functions;
- to perform automatic shutdown of all computers powered by the UPS (if connected to the TCP/
IP network).
