Safety Instructions
Please read these instructions thoroughly before you
use the device and keep them for future reference.
• Only for indoor use.
• Do not expose the product to extremely high or low
temperatures, strong light sources or direct sunlight.
• This product is not a toy. Keep out of reach of
children.
• Repairs or service should only be performed by
qualified personnel.
Requirements
To use this device, your TV needs to support HDMI
ARC audio output.
Installation
Switch off all devices before connecting them.
• Connect the HDMI ARC port of your TV to the 'ARC
input' port of the Connect ARC13.
• Connect your speakers or headphones to the 'Audio
output' ports of the Connect ARC13.
• Use the micro-USB cable to connect the '5 VDC' port
to a 5V USB power source.
Notes for using the product
• Make sure that HDMI CEC is enabled on your TV to
control the volume with your TV remote. CEC is
called differently by all TV brands. For questions
about CEC, please check our FAQ.
• The Connect ARC13 is able to convert multi channel
audio formats (e.g. Dolby Digital or DTS 5.1) into a
stereo audio output signal.
