TROUBLESHOOTING
If your shaver battery is completely empty or the shaver has not been used for an
extended period of time, the shaver may not start when operated using the cord. If this
occurs, a 5 minute quick charge will allow for 3 minutes of shaving.
BATTERY REMOVAL
We strongly recommend that a professional removes the rechargeable battery. Parts of the
shaver case, and tools have sharp edges and may cause injury if not handled correctly.
The rechargeable battery must be removed from the appliance before it is scrapped.
Disconnect the charging adapter before removing the battery.
1.
Run the shaver until the motor stops.
2.
Remove the foil assembly head and pull off the cutters.
3.
Using a Philips screwdriver, remove 4 screws and pry out the top piece of plastic.

Remove the front panel with the Remington logo to expose two screws. Remove them.
5.
Pry off the front panel held by three internal plastic snaps.
6.
Remove the four exposed screws.
7.
Pry out the plastic bracket. A release button and spring will come out at the same time.
8.
Remove the two screws within the shaver body that hold the inner housing to the outer
housing. One screw is to the bottom and the other screw is to one side.
9.
Loosen the large screw holding the power switch to the housing; there is no need to
remove this screw entirely.
10. Pry apart the housing from the power switch to separate the two components held
together by the metal pin.
11. Pull the inner housing out of the outer housing.
12. Remove the two screws holding together the front and back panel of the inner housing.
13. Pry apart the front and back panel of the inner housing by spreading the two plastic
snaps to either side.
14. Remove the two screws holding the circuit board to the housing.
15. Cut the wires connecting the circuit board to the charge port, motor, and power switch.
16. Pull out the circuit board and battery assembly and cut the metal tabs connecting the
battery to the board.
17. Remove the battery
The battery is to be disposed of safely.
