Special safety instructions
• Avoid contacting moving parts. Never place fingers
or anything other then ice into feed or discharge
areas.
• Do not use outdoors.
• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter,
or touch hot surfaces.
Preparation before first use
• Check to make sure the appliance is undamaged.
In case of any damage, contact your supplier im-
mediately and do NOT use the appliance.
• Remove all the packing material and protection
film (if applicable).
• Clean the appliance, see: Cleaning and mainte-
nance.
Operation
• Place the ice container (clear bowl) under the bot-
tom opening of the ice crusher.
NOTE: The ice crusher will not operate unless the
ice container and hopper are secured into position.
• To begin crushing ice, drop cubes into the hop-
per on top of the appliance and switch it on. The

blades of the crusher are self-feeding.
• WARNING: DON'T PUSH CUBES DOWN THE
CHUTE WITH YOUR HANDS OR OTHER TOOLS.
Cleaning and maintenance
• UNPLUG POWER CORD FORM OUTLET.
• The appliance should be cleaned after use, and
before use if it hasn't been used for a prolonged
period of time.
• Remove the ice container and the hopper and
clean these parts with warm water and if needed a
mild detergent, rinse thoroughly.
• Never use aggressive cleaning agents or abra-
sives. Do not use any sharp or pointed objects. Do
not use petrol or solvents! Clean with a damp cloth
and detergent if necessary.

• Check hopper for presence of foreign objects be-
fore using.
• Use only attachments that are included in the
packaging of the Ice Crusher. The use of other at-
tachments may cause fire, electric shock or injury.
• Not suitable for continuous use.
• Place the appliance on a level and steady surface,
unless mentioned otherwise.
• Make sure there is enough clearance around the
appliance for ventilation purposes.
• Position the appliance in such a way that the plug
is accessible at all times.
• If a large cube becomes lodged in the crushing
unit so that blades cannot reach it, switch the
appliance OFF and unplug from the outlet. Pour
warm water down the hopper until lodged cube is
melted or comes loose. WARNING: Only use clear
ice.
• When the crushing is finished the container can
be removed (the removal of the container will stop
the machine). Turn the appliance off and unplug.
• Pour hot water through top feeder to rinse the
blades.
• Wipe outside of the ice crusher with a clean damp
cloth.
• NEVER IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE IN WATER.
Note: After cleaning, the first batch of crushed ice
should be thrown away.
