You do not have to use Bob cassette for the detergent. However, we recommend that a
Bob cassette be or remain inserted in order to protect the nozzles and connector in the
cassette tray, even if the cassette is empty.
Daan Tech offers several types of Bob cassettes, including washing detergent and rinse aid
