6. Installation and initial use

 Before using the appliance for the first time, clean all parts that come into con-
tact with foodstuffs (mixture container, stirrer, cover) thoroughly. Please note
that the parts are not dishwasher safe.
 Before cleaning, remove the motor block from the cover by first removing the
motor block and then turning the cover anticlockwise and removing the stirrer.
NOTE
The appliance is driven by an electric motor. This can lead to a slight
smell during initial operation. This smell is normal and is not a sign of a
malfunctioning appliance. Ensure that there is adequate ventilation.
