General information and instructions
This manual provides all the
information required for the
installation, use and maintenance of
your Scotsman ice and water
dispenser, including important safety
guidelines. Carefully read these
instructions before using the machine
for the first time and keep them for
future reference. Scotsman cannot be
held responsible for any improper use
of the equipment.
Safety provisions
For correct use and proper operation,
carefully read this manual and comply
with all the provisions contained
herein; this will ensure that the
machine runs for a long time without
issues; in case of doubt, please contact
your local Scotsman dealer.
The MANUFACTURER accepts no
liability for injuries or damages due to
failure to comply with these
provisions.
WARNING. Before performing any
maintenance or cleaning operation
disconnect the machine from the
power supply and MAKE SURE THAT
YOUR HANDS ARE PERFECTLY DRY.
The main switch and/or the electrical
outlet, as well as the water shut‐off
cock, must be near the machine and
easily accessible to the operator; ONLY
use drinkable water.
IMPORTANT. To not remove the
panels secured with screws.
WARNING. Installation, maintenance
and cleaning operations must be
carried out by authorised qualified
personnel.
If you need to displace the machine,
always raise it. NEVER push or drag it.
During installation verify that the
power supply outlet is earthed.
Children aged 8 and over and people
with diminished physical, sensory or
mental capabilities or lacking
experience and knowledge can use the
equipment only if supervised,
appropriately instructed as to its safe
use and informed of the possible
dangers associated with its operation.
Children must be watched to make
sure they don't play with the
equipment.
The Manufacturer accepts no liability
for any improper use of the machine,
as specified in the User Manual.
The equipment contains fluorinated
greenhouse gases covered by the
Kyoto Protocol, in the amounts
