Step 5. Support Ring Assembly (C) Installation
1 . Using supplied hex wrenches (T2 and T4), carefully loosen set screws (C-3 and
C-4) on the support ring assembly (C) for adjustment.
2 . Use stud finder to locate stud for determining position of the support ring wall
mount (C-1).
a . The support ring assembly (C) should be level.
b . Support ring fixed panel mount (C-2) should be positioned between 2-3/8"
(6 cm) and 7-7/8" (20 cm) from outer edge of fixed panel as shown.
3 . Use a pencil to mark the location of the support ring wall mount (C-1).
NOTICE
The support ring assembly (C) should be in alignment between the
hinge door panel magnetic seal (W) and fixed panel magnetic seal (X).
4 . Using supplied hex wrench (T2), remove the hex screw (C-3) from support ring
assembly (C) removing the support ring wall mount (C-1).
5 . Use alignment marks on wall made above to position the support ring wall
mount (C-1) and mark hole location using a pencil.
6 . Drill a 1/8" (3.2 mm) pilot hole at the marked location. Next, re-dill a 1/4" (6.4
mm) hole at the location to accept a 8mm support anchor (E).
7 . Apply silicone inside the hole.
8 . Insert support anchor (E) into the hole. The anchors should fit securely into
drilled holes.
CAUTION
• It is STRONGLY RECOMMENDED the screw are secured into a stud.
• If needed, the holes for the support anchors may need to be slightly enlarged.
• If needed, a rubber mallet can be used to insert anchors. To reduce risk of
property damage, metal hammers are not recommended.
9 . Using a Philips screwdriver attach support ring mount (C-1) to shower wall
using support ring screw (D) such that attachment screw is vertical as shown.
Hand tighten ONLY.
DO NOT over tighten support ring screw (D).
CAUTION
10 . Insert the support ring assembly (C) back into the support ring wall mount (C-1)
and secure it with set screw (C-3).
11 . Insert glass gasket (C-5) into the fixed panel end of support ring bar (C-2).
12 . Position support ring bar (C-2) on fixed panel as per #2 noted above.
NOTICE
The support ring bar (C-2) may need to be trimmed in length if too
long.
13 . Tighten all set screws (C-4) on top of support ring bar (C-2) to secure position.
14 . Using a hex wrench (T2), hand tighten padded glass screw (C-6) on inside of
fixed panel (B).
DO NOT over tighten padded glass screw (C-6).
CAUTION
Étape 5. Installation de l'Ensemble tige et bagues de
fixation (C)
1 . À l'aide des clés hexagonales fournies (T2 et T4), desserrez avec précaution
les vis de blocage (C-3 et C-4) de l'ensemble tige et bagues de fixation (C) pour
l'ajustement.
2 . Utilisez le détecteur de montants pour localiser le montant afin de déterminer la
position de la fixation murale de la bague d'ancrage (C-1).
a . L'ensemble tige et bagues de fixation (C) doit être de niveau.
b . La bague de fixation du panneau fixe (C-2) doit être placée entre 2-3/8 po (6
cm) et 7-7/8 po (20 cm) du bord extérieur du panneau fixe, comme illustré.
3 . Utilisez un crayon pour marquer l'emplacement de la bague d'ancrage murale
de la tige (C-1).
AVIS
L'ensemble tige et bagues de fixation (C) doit être aligné entre le joint
magnétique de la porte (W) et le joint magnétique du panneau fixe (X).
4 . À l'aide de la clé hexagonale fournie (T2), retirez la vis hexagonale (C-3) de
l'ensemble tige et bagues de fixation (C) et retirez la bague d'ancrage mural
(C-1).
5 . Utilisez les marques d'alignement sur le mur faites ci-dessus pour positionner
la bague d'ancrage mural (C-1) et marquez l'emplacement des trous à l'aide
d'un crayon.
6 . Percez un trou de guidage de 1/8 po (3,2 mm) à l'endroit marqué. Ensuite,
percez à nouveau un trou de 1/4 po (6,4 mm) à l'endroit prévu pour recevoir un
ancrage de 8 mm (E).
7 . Appliquez du silicone à l'intérieur du trou.
8 . Insérez l'ancrage (E) dans le trou. L'ancrage doit être solidement fixé dans le
trou percé.
ATTENTION
• Il est FORTEMENT RECOMMANDÉ que la vis soit fixée dans un montant.
• Si nécessaire, vous devrez peut être élargir légèrement le trou pour utiliser
l'ancrage.
• Au besoin, un maillet en caoutchouc peut être utilisé pour insérer les ancrages.
Pour réduire les risques de dommages matériels, les marteaux en métal ne sont
pas recommandés.
