• Assembling the bottle:
• The bottles of the Well-Being range do not require the use of the adapter.
• As for the bottles of the NaturalFeeling range, tighten the adapter on the pump body (Fig. 7/1) and then
tighten the bottle to the adapter (Fig. 7/2).
• Use the practical base to lay the assembled product on a flat surface and improve its stability.

USING THE BREAST PUMP

• Wash your hands and cleanse your breast with water or using one of the practical Chicco breast cleansing
wipes.
• To accommodate the milk flow, you can take a hot shower or apply a warm cloth on your breast just before
expressing milk or breastfeeding your child.
• Sit down comfortably and relax.
• Fit the cup over your breast ensuring that the nipple is centred properly. You can use the breast pump both
with and without the soft silicone cushion. We recommend trying both configurations before choosing the
best and most comfortable one for you.
• Hold the handle down gently until you feel the suction on your breast, then release it. You can adjust the
rhythm according to the traction felt on your breast or to the amount of expressed milk. You may need to the
push the handle all the way down.
• Start with quick movements, holding down and releasing the handle to stimulate milk expression. Once the
milk starts flowing, slow down the movements by holding down the handle for 1 or 2 seconds before releasing
it.
• You can express milk from both breasts alternatively.
• You can feed your baby with the breast milk right away by applying the ring and teat to the bottle. This way,
you will obtain a handy baby bottle (Well-Being or NaturalFeeling) ready for use.
• Close the bottle with the airtight cap (included in the packaging) to store the expressed milk in the fridge for up
to 48 hours or in the freezer for up to 3 months.

• Always check food temperature before feeding . This is to prevent any risks of scalding.
• Always inspect the teat before every use by pulling it in every direction. Replace it at the first sign of wear or
damage.
• In any event, we recommend replacing it at least every two months.
• For latex teats:
Produced from natural rubber latex which may cause allergic reactions in particulary sensitive subjects.
N.B. IMPORTANT: you may notice a slight smell of rubber. This smell is absolutely normal and generally disappears
after the first few washes.
• Do not leave the teat in direct contact with sunlight or heat; do not leave it in disinfectant (sterilisation solution)
more than recommended to prevent damaging the teat.
• Glass baby bottles:
Glass bottles may break.

• Ensure that the flow meets the baby's requirements, paying attention to any sucking problems or to milk
coming out from the baby's mouth.

• Administer food and beverages according to the paediatrician's recommendations and to the preparation
methods indicated by the manufacturers.
