NaturalFeeling Manual Breast Pump
Breastfeeding is a very important stage in a baby's and in a mother's life. For babies, latching on and sucking
is not just satisfying a primary physiological need, it is also, and more importantly, a precious moment in the
relationship with their mothers, full of emotions and tactile, auditory, gustatory, and olfactory sensations.
Satisfying this need gives a great feeling of tranquillity and wellbeing to both the mother and the child.
Breast milk contains all the nutrients required to meet infants' nutritional and psychological needs at least for
the first 6 months of their lives.
Chicco's manual breast pump helps extend breastfeeding in the event of excess milk or when you have to be
away from baby. In such cases you can express milk, store it, and give it to baby when necessary.

PREPARATION AND CLEANING
• Disassemble all the parts of the breast pump (see Fig. 1). Take care when removing and cleaning the valve.
Remove the valve by gently pulling the tab on the side of the valve. Do not use tools to clean the valve. If
damaged, the breast pump will not operate correctly.
• Wash every part thoroughly with water and washing up liquid. Rinse thoroughly and dry carefully using a soft,
dry cloth or leave to dry in a clean and ventilated place. Do not use abrasive products to clean the breast pump.
• All the components, except for the valve and the handle, can be washed in the dishwasher using a delicate
program. An aggressive type of washing may cause the material to become discoloured and dull over time.
• Disassemble the appliance completely before every use and sanitise the parts using cold or hot (steam)
sterilising liquids and sterilisers, or boiling them for 5 minutes. Caution: leave the components to cool down
completely before every use. Do not cold sanitise the handle (sterilising liquids).
• Disassemble the product right after every use and rinse every part of the breast pump thoroughly with hot
water. Dry carefully using a soft, clean cloth or leave to dry in a clean and properly ventilated place.
• Store the product in a clean, dry place.
ASSEMBLING THE BREAST PUMP [Fig. 2-3-4-5-6-7]
• Insert the silicone valve on the round duct on the pump body (Fig. 2). Push the outer edge to prevent damaging
the valve and make sure that both edges of the assembled valve are joined together.
• Assemble the silicone diaphragm on the piston, taking care that the reference ribs on the components
correspond (Fig. 3).
• Insert the (pre-assembled) piston and diaphragm on the pump body. Make sure that the protruding edges
of the diaphragm match with their housings visible on both sides of the pump body (Fig. 4) and make sure
that the arrows on the pump body and the diaphragm correspond. Ensure that the diaphragm is positioned
correctly and adheres to the body by pressing along the rim of the diaphragm with your fingers.
• Attach the handle to the piston, engaging the opening of the handle with the top of the piston (Fig. 5/1).
Push the handle towards the pump body (Fig. 5/2). If it is assembled correctly, you will hear it click into place.
• For greater comfort, you can assemble the soft silicone cushion on the pump body (Fig. 6). Push the silicone
cushion inside the pump body as far as possible and seal it around the outer rim of the pump body. Press the
bearings to remove any air trapped inside.
