Troubleshooting

Cause
Lack of power supply
Clogged primary fi lter
Clogged vacuum hose
The fi lter is torn
Inadequate fi lter
Motor brushes (carbon) worn or broken
Non existent or insuffi cient grounding

Remedy
Check for power at the socket.
Check the condition of the socket and the cable.
Ask for assistance to be performed by a qualifi ed
manufacturer's technician.
Use the fi lter shaker (models with manual fi lter
shaker). Replace it if this is not suffi cient.
Check the vacuum hose and clean it.
Replace it with another of identical type.
Replace it with another of a suitable category and
check.
Remove and replace the (carbon) motor brushes.
Check all ground connections. In particular on
the vacuum inlet fi tting; replace the hose with an
antistatic hose.
