INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
1. This installation requires the removal of the two Phillips head screws that hold the back of the headlight pod together. Place
masking tape across the top of the headlight pod to hold the back section to the front while the rear screws are removed. With
the tape in place, remove the two screws from the back of the headlight. These screws will not be re-used for the installation.
2. Loosen the four bolts inside the fender that secure the fender to the aluminum fender support.
3. Slide the wiring (if equipped) between the fender and aluminum support in the corner, as shown below.
4. Peel the plastic from the lower horizontal flange and lower mounting tabs.
5. Slide the fender guard in behind the headlight and slip the two lower mounting tabs between the fender and the aluminum
support, lining them up with the fender locating posts.
6. Peel the laser film back around the mounting holes. We recommend that you leave as much of the laser film on as you can
during installation to protect the parts.
7. Aluminum spacers are provided to fill the countersink recesses in the back of the headlight. Insert the provided M8 Phillips
head screws through the fender guard, place the spacers on the screws, and temporarily secure these with a rubber band as
shown in the picture below. Place the fender guard in position on the truck and start the screws into the back of the headlight.
Cut and remove the rubber band. Do not tighten these screws at this time.
8. Check the final alignment of the fender guard assembly, tighten the two screws in the back of the headlight and then tighten
the four bolts inside the fender for the aluminum fender support.
9. Peel the remaining plastic and clean with glass cleaner, if necessary.
