The device can also be used as a jumper wire. To do this, connect the black cable of the tester to the
positive terminal of the car battery and leave the red cable unconnected. The earth cable can now be
used as a jumper wire.
ATTENTION
THERE IS NO SHORT-CIRCUIT PROTECTION WHEN THE MULTITESTER IS USED AS A SWITCH WIRE!
VO LTAG E T E S T
The unit can also be used for voltage testing using the earth cable. However,
NEVER operate the polarity switch during such a test.
