depends on the quality of the oil used. Do not use old
or already used oil! Only use oil that does not damage
your surroundings. Only store oil in homologated
recipients.
6.3.3. FIXING THE CABLE
Only use prolongators certified for outdoor use. The
cable section must be at least 2,5 mm
must have a maximum length of 25 m and it must
be completely unrolled before starting to work with
the machine. Fix the cable by inserting it on the hook
provided to this effect at the back of the machine.
Prolongators longer than 25 m will reduce the working
efficiency of the machine.
6.3.4. TENSING THE CHAIN
This machine has quick and easy chain tensioning
manual system and without the use of tools.
Always remove the cable from the mains prior to doing
any maintenance or check up work on the machine.
To avoid injuries when checking the chain, wear
security gloves when mounting, tensing or checking
the chain.
MIN: When only 5mm
approximately are visible
in the lower oil level.
MAX: Oil level full at the
top level of the gauge.

Tensing the chain:
1. Ensure that the chain is in the inside of the bar
guide.
2. Loosen the lock nut bar (1) without removing the
cover.
3. Turn nut chain tensor (2) clockwise to tense the
chain and anticlockwise to untense the chain until
the chain tension is adequate.
a. In example (A) the chain is too tense.
b. In example (B) the chain is not tense enough.
4. Hands tighten the nut, strongly (1). Do not tense
the chain too much.
NOTES:
The chain dilates with heat. When the chain is cold
the tension will be more than whe hot. If you tense the
chain when cold, you will have to check the tension
after just a few cuts (the chain will have reached its
working temperature) as it will have expanded when
it heats up and will loosen itself and it could come
out from the bar chain guide. Retense the chain if
necessary.
