Charging the vacuum cleaner

Fully charge the vacuum cleaner before the first use, after each use, or whenever the battery
level is low.
• When the battery level is low, the last LED indicator will flash during use to remind the
user to charge the unit. Should you continue vacuuming, the 5 LED indicators will flash
rapidly, and the unit will automatically stop.
• Before charging, always attach the dust cup and filters to the main unit (see "Detaching
the dust cup and filters" in the Cleaning and Maintenance section).
NOTE: The AC adapter may get warm whilst charging. This is normal.
Make sure that the power button is moved back to the OFF position. Securely connect
the AC adapter cable to the charging socket on the main unit. Then, securely plug the
AC adapter into a suitable power socket.
• The LED indicator(s) will flash when the main unit is charging.
• The number of LED indicators flashing at the same time indicates the current battery
level: 1 being the lowest battery level and 5, the maximum.
• Once the main unit is fully charged, the 5 LED indicators will remain steadily lit and switch
off after a few minutes to save energy.
• When you have finished charging the unit, unplug the AC adapter from the mains socket
first, before removing it from the vacuum cleaner.
WARNING!
• Only charge the unit with the AC adapter supplied.
• Do not use the unit while it is charging.
• Do not charge the unit in ambient temperatures below 0 °C or above 50 °C.
