Permitted use
The valve insert may only be used for installa-
tion in Kermi radiator with a valve. Any other
use is contrary to the intended purpose and
therefore not permissible.

Installation and repairs

tallation and repair work to prevent any

Properly recycle or dispose of disused
radiators, including accessories. Observe
local regulations.

Installation

Inspect package content to ensure it is
complete and undamaged (Fig. 1).

Get needed tools ready.
W
Unscrew the existing valve with a suitable
spanner (size 19) (Fig. 2).
W
Unscrew the site protection cap from the
replacement valve (Fig. 3).
W
Replace the valve insert (Fig. 4).
W
Tighten the valve insert with a tightening
torque of 35 - 40 Nm (Fig. 5).
W
Adjust k -value (Fig. 6).

Adjust the presetting in accordance with
the required value with an open-end
spanner
Size 13 or with k adjustment key. The
v
required adjustment value needs to point
at the marker.
When replacing with a valve V3K or V3K-S,
please refer to the following table.
