Motion Sensor 30° - 270°
Description:
The EBM270/W Motion Sensor can detect movements within an-
gles between 30° to 270° and can switch up to 1840 W. At night the
passive infrared Motion Sensor switches on the light when some-
thing moves within its monitoring area. During the day the built-in
photocell prevents unnecessary power consumption. You can set
the "follow-up time" (how long the lamp stays lit following the last
detected movement) using an adjustable timer. The monitoring area
can be limited by tailoring the set of included lens covers. 4 LEDs
are used for watch / warning function. The Motion Sensor can be
mounted on a wall or a ceiling. In addition, a corner mounting plate
allows mounting the detector on an inside or outside corner.

Do not install the unit outside when it is raining.

Ensure the power source is switched OFF before starting

Ensure the Motion Sensor is installed in an upright posi-

tion only.
Important:
Ensure that local installation regulations are followed without fail. It
may be required that a licensed electrician be called-in for the
electrical connections.
Selection of a suitable mounting location:
Obtain best results by mounting the detector between 2
•
and 3 meters above the ground or floor and on a firm sur-
face.
For outside mounting, a location under a roof overhang is
•
best.
Avoid locations near installations having wide tempera-
•

ture variations (e.g., swimming pools, heating fans, etc.).
