§ Always change all of the batteries at the same time as a complete set and
always use equivalent batteries
§ Keep batteries away from children > Risk of choking or suffocating
§ Never try to open, crush or heat a battery or set it on fire.
§ Do not use the batteries if the product appears to be damaged.
§ The batteries cannot be recharged!
§ Always dispose of used batteries & rechargeable batteries in accordance
with the local regulations and requirements.
§ In the event of battery leakage, do not touch. If you come into contact with battery
fluid, wash the affected area thoroughly and immediately with plenty of water.
§ If the battery fluid has caused a skin reaction or has come into contact with
your eyes, contact a medical professional immediately.
§ Do not short-circuit the batteries!
§ Remove used or empty batteries from the lamp immediately
§ If the lamp can no longer be used, the batteries must be removed from the
lamp before it is disposed of

Do not look directly into the light

people's faces. If this occurs for too
long, the blue light portion of the beam
can cause retinal damage.
The product is categorised as pro-

tective class III and thus operates with a
non-hazardous voltage range.

INSERTING THE BATTERIES

3 batteries are included with the delivery. In order to activate the product, open
the battery compartment and insert the batteries. Ensure that the batteries are
inserted with the correct polarity.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE

Cleaning:
§ Disconnect the power supply from the product before any cleaning.
§ Use only a soft, dry or slightly moist cloth (with a little mild washing-up liquid if
§ required) for cleaning. Do not use abrasive agents or solvents for cleaning.
Maintenance:
If the product is not going to be used, remove the batteries and store separately
in order to preserve service life.

DISPOSAL

Dispose of unserviceable lamps in accordance with legal provisions. The "waste bin"
symbol indicates that, in the EU, it is not permitted to dispose of electrical equipment
in household waste. Use the return and collection systems in your area or contact the
dealer from whom you purchased the product.
For disposal, pass the device on to a specialist disposal point for old equipment. Do
not dispose of the device via household waste as the device contains batteries / re-
chargeable batteries. In this way you will fulfil your legal obligations and contribute
to environmental protection.
