3.6 Adjusting the saddle height of dropper seat posts with internal cable routing

DANGER
Raising the seat post above the minimum insertion mark may cause accidents or damage!
If the seat post is not inserted to the minimum insertion mark, it may break or damage the frame.
• Do not under any circumstances insert the seat post less than the minimum insertion depth (see "3.5 Setting the
saddle height" on page 42).
NOTE
Risk of damage of the seat post due to improper saddle height adjustment!
When sliding a dropper post with internal cable routing into the frame without running down the cable, the cable will snap off.
This will result in leaking and malfunctioning.
Lowering the saddle height
1. Open the saddle clamp.
2. Carefully slide in the seat post and pull the cable out of the
opening in the frame.
3. Route the cable without tensioning or bending it.
4. Close the saddle clamp.
Raising the saddle height
1. Open the saddle clamp.
2. Carefully pull out the seat post and at the same time
carefully push in the cable.
3. Route the cable without tensioning or bending it.
4. Close the saddle clamp.
• When using a bolt clamp, you can find the required
tightening torque on the clamp or in chapter "7.4 Torques"
on page 53.
• When using a clamp with quick-release lever, the lever
should be tightened by hand as tightly as possible.
