• Never mount the fob switch where it might be accidentally turned on.
• Never place switch in an area of direct sunlight or high temperature.
• Always install switch to a clean dry surface.
Install the Wireless Control Switch:
1. Select a location for the Wireless Control Switch.
• The location should be easily accessible, without risk of being accidentally turned on.
• Avoid mounting in an area subjected to high temperatures such as in direct sunlight.
• Area for switch should be clean and oil free.
2. Clean area with rubbing alcohol or a low residue cleaner to remove dirt and oil.
3. Remove protective backing from one side of Velcro™ style pad and apply to back of remote fob.
4. Remove backing from the remaining side of Velcro™ style pad and press Remote fob into place.
Failure to observe these instructions could lead to minor or moderate injury.
• Never route wiring harness near hot surfaces, sharp edges or moving parts.
• Always tie harness down to avoid damage, electrical short or fire.
• Always install relay with connectors downward to keep moisture out of component.
• Always securely attach the harness to the vehicle with wire ties to prevent it from coming loose.
• Always securely bundle excess harness wires with wire ties.
• Never drop the relay.
• Never reverse positive (+) and negative (-) wire leads.
• Never pull or tug on harness.
Connect the Harness:
1. Plug the wire extension into one yellow and black wire set.
2. Route the wire extension to the light that is furthest from the Wireless Controller.
3. Connect the wire extension bullet connectors to the bullet connector from the light. (Black to Black and Yel-
low to White.)
4. Route the other yellow and black wires to the light closest to the Wireless Controller.
5. Connect the yellow and black wire to the wires from the light. (Black to Black and Yellow to White.)
6. Plug the Relay into the Harness (if not already plugged in).
• The Relay should be installed with terminals pointing down. This reduces the possibility of water entry.
7. Drill or locate a 1/8" (3 mm) hole in a convenient location for the Relay.
8. Install a 3/16" (5 mm) sheet metal screw though hole in relay tab and into predrilled hole.
9. Tighten screw.
