RACCOMANDAZIONI PER L'INSTALLAZIONE
1. Non apportare modifiche alla serratura (forature, limature, modifiche della testata e di altri elementi).
2. Non aprire la serratura per effettuare interventi di modifica.
3. Non inserire e fare in modo che non entrino all'interno della serratura, corpi estranei, residue di lavorazione della porta e altri corpi
che potrebbero interferire con i meccanismi interni.
4. Inserire la serratura nell'apposita lavorazione della porta avendo cura che non ci siano forzature. Fissare la serratura con viti
minimo di 5mm.
5. Assicurarsi che la parte inclinata dello scrocco tocchi la contropiastra o l'apposita lavorazione sul telaio.
6. E' necessario che la distanza fra la testata della serratura e il telaio della porta e/o la contropiastra nella quale si inserisce lo
scrocco sia quella indicata dal fabbricante della porta (minimo 3mm).
7. Utilizzare un perno quadro di 9mm avendo cura di inserirlo senza forzare. Assicurarsi che una volta inserito oltrepassi l'ingegno
della serratura.
8. Utilizzare solamente cilindri con camma DIN.
9. Verificare che la contropiastra utilizzata non abbia sporgenze che impediscono il corretto funzionamento della serratura e della porta.
10. Assicurarsi che lo scrocco della serratura non abbia attrito sulla contropiastra. In caso di attrito allargare il foro della contropiastra.
11. In caso di forzature riscontrate sulla serratura non forzare la serratura con utensili di qualsiasi tipo
12. Non forzare la maniglia in senso contrario a quello normale di apertura.
13. La serratura deve essere messa in funzione solamente quando si sono verificate le corrette procedure di installazione della porta
stessa.
14. In caso di sostituzione della serratura e di altri elementi della porta attenersi alle istruzioni fornite dal fabbricante della porta stessa.
15. Una volta terminata l'installazione lubrificare le superfici di contatto dello scrocco.
RACCOMANDAZIONI PER LA MANUTENZIONE
Se si utilizza la versione con catenaccio fare attenzione che la porta non si richiuda con il catenaccio è in posizione di chiusura.
Si consiglia una manutenzione periodica della serratura eseguendo le seguenti azioni:
1. Azionare la serratura con maniglione antipanico e con il cilindro e verificare che non ci siano frizionamenti.
2. Controllare il corretto serraggio delle viti di fissaggio.
3. Controllare che il foro di entrata dello scrocco sulla bocchetta o sul telaio sia libero e verificare il corretto blocco della porta in stato
di chiusura.
4. Controllare che le superfici di contatto di scrocco e contropiastra siano ben lubrificate. Se necessario lubrificare con adeguato
prodotto.
5. Non verniciare le parti in vista della serratura (frontale, scrocco, catenaccio)
6. Se la serratura non funziona in maniera corretta o sono evidenti segni di forzatura deve essere sostituita.
7. Vedi raccomandazioni in dotazione ai maniglioni antipanico.

MECHANICAL LOCKS FOR FIRE DOORS "MITO PANIC" SERIES

1. Do not make any modifications to the lock (no holes, filing, changes to the faceplate or other parts).
2. Do not open the lock to carry out modifications.
3. Do not place or allow any foreign bodies, debris after working on the door or other material which could interfere with the inner
mechanisms to get into the lock.
4. Place the lock in the recess created in the door, taking care not to force it. Fix the lock using screws (minimum 5 mm).
5. Make sure the sloping part of the latchbolt touches the striker or the recess on the frame.
6. The distance between the lock faceplate and the door frame and/or the striker where the latchbolt fits must be that indicated by the
door manufacturer (minimum 3 mm).
7. Use a 9 mm square spindle, taking care not to force it when inserting it. Make sure that once it is inserted, it goes beyond the lock
follower.
8. Use only cylinders with a DIN cam.
9. Check that the striker used does not protrude, preventing the door and lock from working properly.
10. Check there is no friction between the lock latchbolt and the striker. If there is, make the striker hole larger.
11. If the lock has been forced, do not try to force it open using any kind of tool.
12. Do not force the handle in the opposite direction to the normal opening one.
13. The lock may be installed and operated only after checks have been carried out to ensure the door has been correctly installed.
14. If the lock or other parts of the door are replaced, always follow the instructions of the door manufacturer.
15. Once installation is complete, lubricate the latchbolt contact surfaces.
If the lock version with the deadbolt is used, make sure the door does not shut with the deadbolt in the closed position.
Regular maintenance of the lock is recommended. The following actions should be taken:
1. Open the lock using the panic device and cylinder and check there is no friction.
2. Check the fixing screws are properly screwed in.
3. Check the cavity where the latchbolt fits on the striker or door frame is free of debris and that the door is correctly blocked when
closed.
4. Check the contact surfaces of the latchbolt and striker are well lubricated. If necessary, lubricate with a suitable product.
5. Do not paint any visible parts of the lock (faceplate, latchbolt, deadbolt).
6. If the lock does not work properly or if there is evidence it has been forced, it must be replaced.
7. See instructions supplied with panic devices.
