Cause
The motor blocked
The capacitor is damaged
The motor bearings are jammed or
damaged
Beside the above mentioned, check the following:
Light is damaged
Wires are loose or disconnected
The one-way valve and the air
ventilation entrance are not tightly
sealed
Leakage from the connection of
U-shaped section and cover
Motor is damaged and causes
shaking
The motor is not tightly attached
The body is not tight
The hood is installed too high (too
much distance between hood and
cooktop)
Too much ventilation from open
doors or windows
The fixing screw is not tight enough
The hanging screw is not tight
enough
Solution
Get rid of the blocking
Have capacitor replaced
Have motor replaced
Replace lights
Connect the wires as per the
electric diagram
Take down the one way valve
and seal with glue
Take U-shaped section down
and seal with soap or paint
Have motor replaced
Tighten motor
Tighten the body
Install hood at the appropriate
height
Close doors or windows
Place
hood
in
its
position and tighten the fixing
screw
