Symbol'. When this symbol is marked on a product or
battery, it means that it should not be disposed of with your
general household waste. Some chemicals contained within
electrical/electronic products or batteries can be harmful
to health and the environment. Only dispose of electrical/
electronic/battery items in separate collection schemes,
which cater for the recovery and recycling of materials
contained within. Your co-operation is vital to ensure the
success of these schemes and for the protection of the

Disposal of an exhausted batteries
To preserve natural resources, please recycle or dispose of the
batteries properly.
Consult your local waste authority for information regarding available
recycling and /or disposal options.

and week of manufacturing (Wxx).
Check that a circuit breaker has not cut the pow-
er to the appliance.
- Switch off the appliance for a few minutes to
reset the thermal circuit breaker.
- Clean the vents above the appliance.
This can happen the first time the appliance is
used or if it has remained unused for a pro-
longed period of time. The smell should disap-
pear quickly.
- Clean the vents underneath the appliance.
