Preparation before use
Before starting operation it is necessary to perform following steps:
- Check that the machine is in perfect working order.
- Check that lubricant is at the correct indicated level.
- Check the tightness of the bolts and that all parts are in perfect order.
Coupling to engine-driven cultivator
Before applying the machine flange (Fig. 2 – Rif. A), corresponding to the type of engine-driven cultivator you have,
it is recommended to spread grease on the outer diameter of the machine hub (Fig. 2 – Rif. B) to lubricate machine
oscillation. Then insert the flange with its two special screws (dowels) (Fig. 2 – Rif. C) and two nuts. To attach the
flange to the hub, proceed as follows:
-
Screw the two dowels in, as far as they will go; when they have stuck the bottom, unscrew them by one
turn. Move the nuts in and tighten. After this operation, make sure that the flange oscillates freely without
squeezing or blocking; if necessary, repeat the operation.
-
Then insert the trasmission sleeve (Fig. 2 – Rif. D) on the machine shaft, after first greasing it.
