The AquaTesterPro with special indicators from Velda measures
the most important water values in just a few seconds. Using
this electronic water analyser you can check the water quality
often and easily. The digital test results can be sent via Bluetooth.
The AquaTesterPro app uses the values for a complete diagnosis
and history of your pond. You will receive smart advice from
Velda to maintain water quality and avoid any pond problems.
First use of the AquaTesterPro + app
Download the AquaTesterPro app from the App Store (iOS) or
Google Play (Android). Install it on your smart phone or tablet.
Open the cover on the back and insert 3 AAA batteries (not
included). Press the round button to activate the water analyser.
First, make the Bluetooth connection and perform an update of
the AquaTesterPro! To do this, go to settings in the app and click
on update firmware. Do not interrupt the update. The latest water
values measured will display on the screen after switching on
the AquaTesterPro. This data is cleared after a battery change.
After use of the AquaTesterPro
Open the cover on the back of the water analyser to clean the
lens with a soft cloth.
Handling and storing the indicators
Take one indicator out of the tube and do not touch the test
surfaces. Store the indicators dry and cool in the sealed tube.
They are sensitive to humidity. Avoid temperatures below 2° or
higher than 30°C. Keep out of the reach of children.
USER INSTRUCTIONS
How to test pond or aquarium water
Take a few samples of your pond or aquarium water (fresh
water) and mix them to measure average values (for example,
near the bottom, the surface and near the filter outlet). Use a
clean glass without traces of detergent etc. to take the samples.
Do not test salt water or swimming pool water.
AquaTesterPro + Indicators fresh water
1. Take 1 indicator out of the tube and do not touch
the test surfaces! Immediately after taking the water
sample, dip the indicator into the water for 5 second
Shake off the excess water and hold the strip horizontal.
Wait exactly 30 seconds! Do not touch the test surfaces!
2. Turn on the AquaTesterPro with the round button.
Position the indicator with the measuring surfaces to
the front and to the left of the sensor in the opening
in the back of the device. No more than 1 cm of the
indicator should protrude on the right-hand side. Slide
the indicator in one motion (2 sec.) from left to right
through the water analyser. The display shows
followed by the series of test results. If the test has
failed, it shows
. Open the cover on the back of
the water analyser to clean the lens with a soft cloth.
Slide the indicator slowly again until
the round button repeatedly and the latest results will
appear again one by one and you can note the values.
Using the special AquaTesterPro app (option)
Download the special Velda app from the App Store
(iOS) or Google Play (Android). Install it on your smart
phone or tablet and follow the instructions.
3. Activate the AquaTesterPro with the round but-
ton. Download the latest test results via Bluetooth
connection, add them to the characteristics of your
pond or aquarium and save them in the history.
After you enter the properties of your pond, the
app provides you with a complete pond diagnosis
and advice to improve your pond. Shut down the
Bluetooth connection if you want to download the
results from another mobile device (only one device
at a time).
