OPERATING ISSUE
Motor will not start.
Little or no suction.
Vacuum does not clean.
Vacuum is hard to push.
Vacuum is clogged.
Burning smell.
Dust leaking out of vacuum.
Belt is broken or worn.
Belt continues to break.

TROUBLESHOOTING
1. Turn power switch on.
2. Push plug securely into outlet.
3. Try another outlet.
1. There may be a clog in the bottom of the vacuum or
in the dirt tube.
a. Remove bottom metal plate and check for clogs
in base or brush roll.
b. Unzip cloth bag, remove dust bag and check for
clogs in the dirt tube.
2. Belt may be broken. Replace belt.
1. Dust bag may be full.
2. Replace the dust bag if 2/3 or more full.
3. Adjust carpet height setting to lower position.
4. Check for clogs that restrict the air flow.
5. Check for worn or broken belt and replace if
necessary.
1. Adjust carpet height setting to higher position.
1. Remove bottom metal plate. Check for clog in base
and/or brush roll.
2. Remove dust bag. Check for clog where dust bag
attaches to dust bag collar and where the dust bag
attaches to the dirt tube.
1. The belt may be damaged or something may be
caught in the brush roll.
2. Check brush roll and remove obstruction.
3. Replace belt.
1. Check to ensure paper bag collar is properly
attached inside cloth bag.
2. Check paper bag for tears.
1. Replace belt.
1. The brush roll should be positioned with the low side
of belt aligned within the belt groove.
