regular use. If your charging accessories become warm during use or if the TAG
Heuer Connected Watch does not charge or sync, disconnect the cable from the
power adapter and clean the accessories with a nonabrasive, dry, lint-free cloth.
(ii) Exposure to liquid
Your accessories are not water-resistant. Exposing them to any moisture or liquid
source will void the International Limited Guarantee. Do not charge your watch
when it is wet from water, sweat or other liquids. To clean the charging surface,
disconnect the charger from both the TAG Heuer Connected Watch and the wall
plug and wipe with a dry, nonabrasive, lint-free cloth before resuming charging.
Do not use cleaning products when cleaning the charging surface.
2. Protection of the user's health
(i) General
As a general recommendation, the TAG Heuer Connected Watch charging ac-
cessories are not intended for use where the failure of the device could lead to
death, personal injury, or severe environmental damage. If you have any questions
concerning your TAG Heuer Connected Watch accessories' chemical contents,
do not hesitate to contact us through our website www.tagheuer.com or by
mail at the following address: TAG Heuer, branch of LVMH Swiss Manufactures
SA - 6a rue Louis-Joseph Chevrolet - 2300 La Chaux-de-Fonds – Switzerland
(phone: +41 (0)32 919 8000).
Your TAG Heuer Connected Watch (which is a radio equipment) and its accessories
(which contain magnets) may interfere with pacemakers, defibrillators, or other
medical devices. Maintain a safe distance of separation between your medical de-
vice and the TAG Heuer Connected Watch and accessories. Consult your physician
and medical device manufacturer for information specific to your medical device.
Stop using the TAG Heuer Connected Watch and its accessories if you suspect they
are interfering with your pacemaker, defibrillator, or any other medical device.
(ii) Protection of children
The TAG Heuer Connected Watch and its accessories present a choking hazard
to children and must therefore be kept away from children.
In general, always use common sense when using your TAG Heuer Connected
Watch.
3. Electrical Safety
When a charger is not in use, disconnect it from the power source.
It is important to keep the TAG Heuer Connected Watch and the accessories
provided therewith in a well-ventilated area when charging.
Use the charging accessories provided with the TAG Heuer Connected Watch
or any other TAG Heuer approved charging accessories only from the type
of power source indicated on the marking label. Before you use any charging
accessory, verify that the main voltage of the power source is in accordance with
the voltage of the approved charging accessories.
Do not overload power outlet, extension cords or convenience receptacles
because this might result in a risk of fire or electric shock. To reduce the risk of
damage to the cord or the wall charger, pull the wall charger rather than the
cord when you disconnect the charging accessory from the power outlet or
convenience receptacle.
Using damaged TAG Heuer Connected Watch charging accessories, or charging
when moisture is present, or handling accessories with wet hands, can cause fire,
electric shock, injury, or damage to the user or the TAG Heuer Connected Watch
or other property. Be sure the TAG Heuer Connected Watch and the charging
accessories are dry before charging. When you use the charging accessories
to charge the TAG Heuer Connected Watch, make sure that the USB plug is
fully inserted into the adapter before you plug the adapter into a power outlet.
Avoid charging the TAG Heuer Connected Watch in direct sunlight. Do not wear
the TAG Heuer Connected Watch while it is charging. The watch should not be
charged next to certain pieces of furniture that could easily catch fire in case of
an overheated battery (e.g. sofas, bookshelves, etc.).
Avoid prolonged skin contact with the connector when the cable is plugged into
a power source because it may cause discomfort or injury. Sleeping or sitting on
the connector should be avoided.
