Step 4: Wire EcoSystemR Link (continued)
WARNING - Shock Hazard. To avoid the risk of
electric shock, do not wire live. Interrupt power via
breaker before wiring between the interface and a
driver.
1. Interface terminals only accept solid wire. Join EcoSystemR link
input E1 and E2 to 16 AWG to 18 AWG (1.5 mm² to 1.0 mm²)
solid wire before connecting to an interface.
2. Connect EcoSystemR link wires E1 and E2 to terminals E1
and E2 (PURPLE) on the interface. EcoSystemR Bus length is
limited by the wire gauge used for E1 and E2 as follows:
3. Energize the EcoSystemR link Supply only. Verify that 18 V-
is present at the E1 and E2 terminals on the interface* .
Wire Gauge
12 AWG (2.5 mm()
14 AWG (2.0 mm()
16 AWG (1.5 mm()
18 AWG (1.0 mm()
4. Energize the interface. Attached driver and LEDs should turn
on to full light output until programmed into control system.
*Note: It may be possible to have the EcoSystemR link
supply and the interface on the same breaker. In this case,
they would be energized simultaneously.
Interface Warranty

installed and operated under Lutron product specifications and in accordance with the applicable National Electrical Code and Safety Standards of Underwriters Laboratories. Lutron
shall, at its option, repair or replace any defective unit that, in its opinion, has been properly installed, wired, insulated, used and maintained, provided that Lutron shall not be required
to remove, install or re-install any defective unit and provided that Lutron is promptly notified of said defect within the aforementioned warranty period. The foregoing warranty and
optional remedies are exclusive and, except for the foregoing warranties, THERE ARE NO EXPRESS OR IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY OR OF ANY OTHER TYPE.
In no event shall Lutron or any other seller be liable for consequential or special damages, nor for any repair work undertaken without its prior consent, nor shall Lutron's liability on
any claim for damages arising out of or connected with the manufacture, sale installation, delivery or use of said unit ever exceed the price paid therefor. Lutron will not be responsible
for any ancillary equipment not furnished by Lutron which is attached to or used in connection with the interface, or for operation of the interface with any ancillary equipment and all
such equipment is expressly excluded from this warranty. Furthermore, Lutron will not be responsible for any damage to the interface resulting from the use of ancillary equipment
not furnished by Lutron for use with the interface.

EcoSystemR to 0-10 V Interface | Install Guide
Bus Length (max)
2200 ft (671 m)
1400 ft (427 m)
900 ft (275 m)
570 ft (175 m)
Troubleshooting
Symptom
Resolution
Lights at low-end
Verify wiring & polarity of
0-10 V- wires. They may be
reversed or shorted.
Temporarily remove EcoSystemR
link connection to ensure control
system is not keeping lights at
minimum.
Lights at high-end
Verify connection of 0-10 V-
wires to ensure they are not
disconnected.
Ensure fixture is compliant with
IEC 60929 Standard and that
voltage is sourced by fixture.
Short driver's 0-10 V- wires
together. Lights should turn
off or go to low-end if driver is
IEC60929 compliant.
Lights do not turn
Check driver power wiring and
off or on
0-10 V- control wiring.
Line voltage should be present at
interface and driver when power
is on.
Improper dimming
Low-end or high-end trim may
range
be needed. See instructions for
control system being used for
details on setting trim levels.
Dimming range and performance
is determined by driver
being used. Contact driver
manufacturer for details on
dimming performance.
