The following safety instructions must be observed during operation in
order to prevent hazards.
Safety instructions pertaining to operation
> The lift must only be installed by experts.
> Children may only use the lift if they are being supervised by an adult.
> Do not attach any additional objects or support yourself on the lift.
> Disconnect the lift from the power supply immediately and contact the
manufacturer in the event of damage, smoke development or the occur-
rence of unusual noises or odours.
> Do not install any heat sources in the vicinity of the lift (candles, heaters,
etc.).
Electrical safety
> Do not allow liquids to penetrate the control unit (e.g. spillage from
containers containing liquids onto the worktop).
> Do not open the housing of the control unit.
> Always pull out the mains plug when disconnecting from the power supply.
> Do not connect any distributors or adapters between the equipment and the
power supply.
> Never replace or modify the mains plugs / mains leads.
The lift is designed for the following purposes:
• Vertical raising and lowering of a furniture item (worktop, sink, hot plate unit etc.).
The lift may be installed and used in the following environments:
• On the rear panels of suitable and sufficiently load-bearing furniture items (see
"2.4 Installation requirements / Technical data"),
• In dry interior rooms in compliance with the limits of the product defined by the
technical data (see "2.4 Installation requirements / Technical data").
Do not install/use the lift in the following environments:
• Potentially explosive or aggressive environments,
• Near hot surfaces, heat sources (candles, heaters etc.),
• Areas that are exposed to direct sunlight for long periods. Panelling made from
stainless steel can heat up.
It is particularly important to avoid the following:
• Continuous use and overloading. The lift must not be used for more than
2 minutes at a time with a full load, after which it should not be used again for
18 minutes. The control unit switches off if the lift is overloaded.
• Installation and use of damaged or non-original components.
• Use of the control unit to power other devices.
• Omission of components during assembly.
• Conversion, maintenance or repair work on the lift.
