„ Never place the appliance below or close to easily inflammable objects (e.g. curtains, etc.)
„ If parts of the appliance should catch fire, never try to extinguish flames with water.
Disconnect the appliance and smother the flames with a damp cloth.
„ Take care when removing the eggs at the end of the cooking time, they can be very hot.
„ Be careful when using the piercing needle, it is very sharp.
TO DO
„ If an accident occurs, rinse the burn immediately with cold water and call a doctor if
necessary.
„ Remove all packaging materials, stickers and accessories from the inside and outside
of the appliance.
„ Unwind the cord completely.
„ If the appliance is used at the centre of the table, place it away from the reach of
children.
„ When used for the first time, clean the appliance and its accessories using a damp
cloth.
„ Position the power cord carefully, whether an extension is used or not, so that people
can move freely around the table without tripping over it.
REFRAIN FROM
„ Never use the appliance when empty.
„ To prevent overheating the appliance, do not place in a corner or against a wall.
„ Never place your appliance directly on a fragile surface (glass table, tablecloth or
varnished furniture, etc.) or on a plastic tablecloth.
„ Never place cooking utensils on the appliance's cooking surfaces.
„ Never place or use this appliance on or close to a heat source(e.g. cooking hob ,hot
plate or naked flame).
„ Never immerse the appliance or power supply cord in water or any other liquid.
INSTALLATION
„ Place your cooker on a flat, stable, heat & water-resistant work surface.
„ Clean the appliance (unplugged) and its accessories using a damp cloth and dry.
START-UP AND COOKING:
„ We recommend that you take the eggs out of the fridge in advance so that they are at
room temperature before cooking.
„ You can choose three cooking modes for the eggs (one to seven eggs).
„ The markings on the water jug are for information only; the results depend on the type
and size of eggs.

BOILED EGGS

HARD BOILED EGGS
„ Fill the lower part of the appliance with cold water depending on the cooking method
selected.
„ Use the water jug for the quantity of water required (1 to 2).
„ Place the egg holder on the lower part of the appliance (place the egg holder in the
right way - 3).
„ Turn the water jug and position it so it is flat with the egg piercing needle uppermost.
„ Take each egg and place it on the Egg piercing needle so that the shell is pierced, to
prevent the egg from cracking during cooking. (4).
„ Position the eggs evenly around the egg holder. (5). Make sure to place the eggs in
such a way that the opening is at the top. (If you want to cook less than seven eggs,
place them along the edge of the holder).
„ Place the lid correctly on the egg holder. (6).
„ Unwind the power cord and plug your appliance into the mains power supply.
„ Move the switch to the I position. (7).
„ During cooking some hot steam will escape through the small opening on the top of
the lid, this is completely normal. (8).
Do not place hands over this opening in the lid during cooking.
END OF COOKING:
„ When the water has evaporated, a beep sounds to advise that cooking has ended.
„ Move the switch to the O position. (9).
„ The appliance stops operating. The eggs are ready.
„ Remove the lid using oven gloves as the appliance is still hot and hot steam escapes
through the opening on the lid. (10).
„ Grasp the egg holder by the handle (using oven gloves if necessary). (11).
„ Remove the egg holder from the appliance and run under cold water to cool the
eggs. (12).

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:

„ Before any cleaning or maintenance, unplug and leave the appliance to cool.
„ The lid and egg holder are cleaned using water and washing up liquid.
„ Wipe the appliance exterior and the cord using a damp cloth.
„ Leave to dry.
„ Do this regularly, ideally after each use.
