Function and application

The PEV-... pressure switch opens or closes an electrical circuit when a certain
adjustable pressure value is reached (changeover switch). The rising pressure
moves a plunger. The deflection depends on the force of the pressure and on the
adjustable spring pre-tension. At a defined deflection of the plunger, a micro
switch is actuated. This switch closes or opens the electrical contacts.
The PEV-... has been designed for use in generating monitoring signals for
controllers.
3 Conditions of use
Make sure that the instructions in this chapter
are always observed. The product will then
function correctly and reliably.

Compare the maximum values in these
operating instructions with your actual
application (e.g. for pressures, forces,
torques, masses, speeds, temperatures).

Ensure that there is a correctly prepared
supply of compressed air.

Take into account the ambient conditions
at the point of use.

Please comply with the relevant technical
regulations, as well as with national and
local regulations.

Remove the packaging.
The packing materials can be recycled for further use.

Observe the warnings and instructions on the product and in these operating
instructions.

Use the product in its original condition without undertaking any modifica-
tions.
