USB/SD mode button

As long as a USB/SD memory is connected, press the USB/SD Mode
button to switch between USB, SD and BT playback.
•
Press and hold the button during USB/SD playback to quickly play a
single track. The LED light blinks rapidly.
Note: If you connect the system to an MP3 player via the USB slot, some
MP3 players may not play back via the USB slot due to differences in the
MP3 encoding format. This is not a system malfunction. There are many
USB device manufacturers and encoding formats. Therefore, there is no
guarantee that all brands of USB/SD devices will support it.
Removing USB/SD Memory
To remove the USB/SD memory, first set the function switch to RADIO or
TAPE, then remove the USB/SD memory from the corresponding slot.
BT FUNCTIONS
•
Set the function switch to BT/MUSIC.
Note: If USB/SD memory is connected, press the Mode button and
select BT.
•
During connection, the LED flashes blue to indicate that the cassette
recorder is ready to pair.
•
Open the BT function on your mobile device (mobile phone, tablet) and
select [DUKE] from the list of BT devices displayed.
•
As soon as the devices are connected via BT, the LED lights up blue
continuously. Start playback on your external device or via the Play/
Pause button on the cassette recorder.
•
During playback via BT, the LED light flashes blue.
PLAYBACK VIA HEADPHONES
To play music through headphones, connect headphones with a 3.5 mm jack
plug to the headphone jack.
