Electronic room thermostat with
set point reduction input 6 orders
Installation

WS314
1,50 m
The thermostat has to be installed ideally at
about 1,5 m from the floor, on an inside wall,
sheltered from direct sun radiation and from all
thermal disturbance, such as lighting lamp,
television heating pipe, draught.

is operating.
Thermostat operation
• OFF position: thermostat is OFF. Position used
to verify the regulation type (high or low inertia).
•
(manual) position: thermostat works in local
override.
• AUTO position: thermostat regulates the
temperature in function of the set point
reduction. Comfort temperature is the
temperature set with the knob.
Principle of the set point reduction
input 6 orders
This connection linked to a time switch or to
a power manager enables, in automatic mode,
to pilot the heating as follows:
• Comfort temperature = temperature set on
the thermostat.
• Reduced temperature = economy temperature
used during night or short absences.
• Antifreeze temperature: 7,5°C fixed.
• Stop = stopping of heating (shedding).
• Eco 1 / Eco 2 = temperature level requested
by a power manager during the sensitive
periods of option "Tempo".

Connection
with external
relay :
Heating system is connected on the output terminals
1 & 2 (through pass neutral) for a power below 8A
(1800W).
To ensure an optimal regulation of the temperature,
it is better to connect the heating through a relay
for all value above 4,5A (1100W).

On delivery, the thermostat is in mode high inertia
suitable for underfloor heating system.
In order to changeover into low inertia
(traditional convector) follow the sequence below:
0- To start, put the switch at OFF and the temperature
at "minimal stop".
1- Put the switch at AUTO.
2- Set the temperature at "maximal stop".
3- Put the switch at OFF.
4- Set the temperature at "minimal stop".
5- Put the switch at AUTO.
At the end of the sequence, the switch blinks fast
during 3 sec for a low inertia, and 3 times only for
a high inertia. If the time between the different steps
is longer than 15 sec, the sequence must be restarted
again from step 0.

0- Put the switch at OFF position.
Set the temperature at "minimal stop".
1- Set the temperature at "maximal stop".
2- Back to "minimal stop".
The switch blinks 3 times during 3 sec:
high inertia (underfloor heating).
The switch blinks more than 3 times during 3 sec:
low inertia (traditional convector).
Caution! steps 0 to 2 must be carried out within
10 sec max.
This operation does not disturb the functioning
of the thermostat and can be carried out as
you like.
Limitation of temperature range
The temperature range may be reduced as
follows:
1- Remove temperature adjustment knob
2- Lift limitation lug
.

3- Adjust red wheel
to define maximal desired
C

4- Adjust blue wheel
to define minimal desired
