Audio/Video Formats
The multimedia player can display different file formats (e.g. images, texts) or play them back
(e.g. MP3s, videos).
Due to the large number of programs that generate such data formats however, it may happen
that a file cannot be played back.
For example:
MP3 files are generated with the most diverse programs and have different bit rates (e.g.
128kBit, 192kBit or variable bit rates, VBR).
With video data there are numerous methods to compress image contents and audio signals
to save memory. In addition, video data has different resolutions and bit rates.
For this reason, we cannot guarantee that an existing audio or video file can be
played back on the Multimedia Player.
Please observe the next chapter for generating suitable video files.
AV Converter Software
The CD also contains a software with which you can generate video files for the multimedia
player. Existing video files in various formats can thus be converted to be suitable for the
multimedia player.
Please note the information in the software regarding their handling as this may
change with newer software versions.
