8 Operation
8.1 Streaming video
After connecting the HDMI transmitter and HDMI receiver you can stream video.
1. To switch on, move the switch On/Off to On.
The power indicator light lights up.

2. Start the video on the media box.
3. After use, move the switch On/Off to Off to switch off.
8.2 Controlling by IR remote control
After setting up the IR transmitter and receiver, control the media box with a compatible IR remote control.

If you are near the HDMI transmitter: point the remote control of the media box at the media box to
control it.
■
If you are near the HDMI receiver: point the remote control at the IR receiver connected to the HDMI
receiver to control the media box.
8.3 Controlling by ASCII commands
Connect a PC to the HDMI transmitter and control the transmitter with ASCII commands.
1. Download the ASCII commands reference from www.conrad.com/downloads.
2. Connect the PC to the port SERVICE on the HDMI transmitter with a micro USB data cable.
3. Open a serial command tool on the PC and control the HDMI transmitter by sending ASCII commands
from the ASCII commands reference.
9 Cleaning and care
NOTICE! Do not use aggressive cleaning agents, rubbing alcohol or other chemical solutions as
they can cause damage to the housing and malfunctioning.
1. Disconnect the product from the power supply.
2. Clean the product with a dry, fibre-free cloth.
