Primary filter safe replacement
Take care not to raise dust when this operation is
carried out. Wear a P3 mask and other protective
clothing plus protective gloves (DPI) suited to the
hazardous nature of the dust collected, refer to the
laws in force.
Turn off the vacuum cleaner by turning the switch to "0" (1).
Disconnect the accessory hose from the inlet (2).
Insert the plug in the inlet (3).
Clean the filter with the filter shaker (4).
Perform at least two cleaning cycles with 5 movements
each.
Press down the lever (5) to release the casing (6). With
the lever (7) lift the casing (6) to reach the bag (8).
Turn the bag full of dust (9) on itself to obtain a section of
coiled bags to be tightened with two clamps (10). Place
the two clamps at a distance of 50 mm between them,
then in-between as shown in the figure. Remove the bag
full of dust (9) and place the new section of Longopac
(10).
Remove vacuum hose from the cap (11).
Unlock the safety bolt (25).
Open the clamping band (12) and slide it down until it
rests on the side brackets (13).
Remove the cap (14) but do not lift the star filter (15).
Remove the cage (16) inside the filter.
Insert the belt (17) around the side.
Place the bag with the elastic band on the side (18).
Tighten the safety belt (19) on the bag, over the elastic
band.
Tuck in the bag along its length. (20)
Remove the star filter (21) by grasping the ring with
the gasket and lift it until it is completely out of the filter

chamber (22).
Turn the bag on itself to obtain a section of coiled bags to
be tightened with two clamps (23). Place the two clamps
at a distance of 50 mm between them, then in-between
as shown in the figure.
Dispose of the filter (24) according to the laws in force.
Loosen the belt (26) and carefully move the bag elastic
band (27) towards the side upper edge.
Insert the second bag (28) over the first bag (29) and
tighten the safety belt (30) on the new bag.
Through the new bag (28) carefully remove the crop of
the first bag (29) from the edge of the machine side.
Bring the crop (29) towards the end of the second bag
(28).
Turn the bag (28) on itself to obtain a section of coiled
bags and close of the crop (29) at the bottom of the bag
(28) by tightening the clamp (31)
Loosen and remove the belt, carefully remove the bag
from the edge of the machine side and dispose of it
according to the law in force.
Reset the vacuum cleaner by installing a new filter.
Insert the cage in the filter by taking care that there is
one spoke of the cage every two pockets of the star filter.

Install the cap.
Close the clamping band.
Tighten the safety bolt again.
Connect the vacuum hose to the cap.
If necessary contact the manufacturer's Service Centre.

Absolute filter replacement

Do not use the Class H filter again after having
removed it from the vacuum cleaner.

Before proceeding with these operations, turn the machine off
and disconnect the plug from the power socket.
Loosen the clamp (12) with a screwdriver and remove
the vacuum hose (11).
Unscrew the knob (2).
Unlock the safety bolt (4).
Use the lever (3) to remove the cover (1).
Loosen the screw (9) of the primary filter (8) fixing clamp
(10) using a screwdriver.
Remove the filter holder disc (6) with the absolute filter
installed and unscrew the nut (7).
Remove the absolute filter (5).
Cover the absolute filter (5) with a plastic bag, close
the plastic bag hermetically and dispose of the filter in
accordance with the laws in force.
Insert a new filter (5) with the same filtering
characteristics as the removed one.
Lock the absolute filter with the nut (7).
Tighten the clamp (10) screw (9) fixing the primary filter
(8) to the absolute filter holder disc (6).
Insert the cover (1) again.
Close the cover hermetically by means of the lever (3)
and lock the safety bolt (4) again.
Fit the vacuum hose (11) back in place and tighten the
clamp (12).
