- The wire which is coloured green and yellow must be connected to the terminal in the plug which is
marked with the letter E or by the earth symbol
- The wire which is coloured blue must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter N
or coloured black.

The wire which is coloured brown must be connected to the terminal which is marked with the letter
L or coloured red.
ATTENTION: Do not forget to use adequate plugs to the support brackets. Enquire after the
manufacturers. Do an embedding if necessary. The manufacturer accepts no responsibility
in case of a faulty hanging due to the drilling and the setting up of plugs in the ceiling.
1) Unpack the hood parcel .
2) Mark the centre of the cooking appliance onto the ceiling with a plumb line as illustrated Fig. 6a.
Draw the horizontal axes running parallel to the stove top onto the ceiling
3) Mark the positions on the ceiling for :
Drill the different holes Fig. 6b with the appropriate masonry bit. When fixing the cooker hood to a
plasterboard ceiling ensure it is reinforced as illustrated in Fig. 6c and attach using four Ø10mm nuts
and bolts; ensuring the bolts as sleeved between the plasterboard and the joist supports to prevent
the ceiling being damaged when the bolts are tightened up.
4) Unscrew the 4 socket head cap screws 4 x 10 with an hexagon key 2,5 mm and remove the cover
A from the canopy as illustrated in Fig. 1.
5) Slide up the covers B and A to the top of the tubular fixation C and hold them in position as illustrated
in Fig. 2.
6) Clamp the connector between the tubular fixation C and the canopy Fig. 3.
7) Fit into each other the tubular fixation C and the round bracket onto the canopy and fit them together
with the 4 pan-head screws 5x 10 (fig. 4).
8) Slide to the bottom the cover A and fit it with the 4 socket head cap screws 4 x 10 (Fig. 5).
9) Connect the mains to the appliance (Fig. 8).
10) Fit the canopy to the ceiling as illustrated Fig. 7.
Attention: 2 persons are necessary to secure this operation.
11) Slide to the top the cover B and fit it with the 3 pan-head stainless steel screws 3 x 6 onto the tubular
fixation C as illustrated in Fig. 9.

USEFUL HINTS
• To obtain the best performance it is advisable to switch 'ON' the cooker hood a few minutes (in the
boost setting) before you start cooking and you should leave it running for approximately 15 minutes
after finishing.
• IMPORTANT: NEVER DO FLAMBÉ COOKING UNDER THIS COOKER HOOD
