Advanced System Installation

The following information will help you utilize the more advanced features of the KAB series public
address power amplifier.
A. The "DC IN" screw terminals are used to connect the KAB series mixer/amplifier to an alternate
power source, such as a battery, in the event of a power failure.

IMPORTANT - Always make sure you connect the proper DC voltage using the
correct polarity. Failure to do so will result in permanent damage to the device and
possibly the external power supply. Use a cable large enough to handle the current
requirements of the KAB series mixer/amplifier.
