RECOMMENDATIONS FOR BATTERY USE
a) Never disassemble, open or dismantle cells or batteries apart.
b) Do not expose cells or batteries to heat or fire. Avoid storing
them directly under sunlight.
c) Never short‐circuit a cell or battery. Do not store cells or
batteries haphazardly in a box or drawer, as they may short‐circuit
each other or be short‐circuited by other metal objects.
d) Do not remove a cell or battery from its original packaging until
it is on the point to be used.
e) Avoid causing mechanical shocks to the batteries.
f) In the event of a leak of a component, take care the liquid does
not come into contact with the skin or eyes. If this happens, wash
the touched area with plenty of water and consult a doctor.
g) Use only chargers specifically designed for use with the device.
h) Check for the polarity marks (+ and ‐) marks on cells, batteries
and devices, and ensure they are properly respected.
i) Do not use cells or batteries that are not designed for use with
the equipment.
j) Never mix elements of different manufacture, capacity, size or
type within an apparatus.
k) Adults should always monitor the use of cells and batteries by
children.
l) Consult a doctor immediately if a cell or battery is swallowed.
m) Always purchase cells and batteries recommended by the
device manufacturer.
n) Keep cells and batteries clean and dry at all times.
o) If cells and batteries terminals become dirty, wipe them with a
clean and dry cloth.
