2.7 Safeguard against restart
Power is supplied to the machine only via a mains connection and a (country-specific) plug.
Equipped either with 400V or 230V electric motor
Safeguard against restart:

Press the emergency stop button until it locks into place.

Always be prepared for accidents or fire!
Preventive
measures
Keep first aid equipment (first aid kit, blankets, etc.) and fire extinguishers readily available.
Familiarize your personnel with all accident signaling, first aid and rescue equipment.
Keep access roads clear for rescue vehicles.

Risk of fatal injury caused by unauthorized restart!
Work in the hazard area of the machine always involves the risk of the power supply being
switched on without authority. This may cause fatal injuries to any person inside the hazard
area of the machine.
Therefore:

Follow the information on safeguarding against restart provided in the chapters of these
instructions.

Follow the procedure applied to safeguard the machine against unauthorized restart as
described below.
CAUTION!
Environmental hazard caused by improper handling of substances that are harmful to
the environment!
If handled improperly, substances that are harmful to the environment may cause significant
environmental damage, especially when disposed of improperly.
Therefore:

Always follow the instructions given below.

Take immediate action when harmful substances have leaked into the environment by
accident. If in doubt, report the damage to the responsible local authorities.
