Troubleshooting

The engine will not start:
•
Check that the on/off switch is in the operating position - "ON" position.
•
Check the engine oil level. If the oil level is too low, the engine cannot be started.
•
Check if there is fuel in the fuel tank.
•
Disconnect the spark plug cap, unscrew the spark plug with the plug wrench and
check its condition. Use a wire brush to remove soot particles from the spark plug and
electrodes. Check the electrode gap and adjust it to 0.7 to 0.8 mm if necessary.
The generator does not produce electricity.
•
Connect a hand lamp to the generator for testing.
•
Check that the AC fuse switch is in the "ON" position.
Can no longer start the engine, or the generator does not supply power. Check the points listed. If
this does not solve the problem, please contact FUXTEC customer service.

The danger of explosion!
When transporting the generator by car, always empty the fuel tank first. Be careful when loading
and unloading the generator and avoid transport damage at all costs. You should thoroughly inspect
the generator for possible damage after a transport before putting it back into operation.
If you are only going to make a small change of location with the generator (another area within a
construction site or similar), be sure to switch off the generator and its engine beforehand. There is a
considerable risk of injury in the event of improper transport.
