EARTHING AND SHORT-CIRCUIT EQUIPMENT FOR MEDIUM VOLTAGE

COMPOSITION
3 MPU aluminium alloy clamps with screw tighten and Bayonet fixing for cylindrical conductors with diameter
between 4 and 30 mm, flat bars max. 45 mm bending bus-bars max. 45 mm and fixing points between 20 and
25 mm.
3 copper cables with PVC insulation of 25/35/50 mm² section (depending on model) and 0,75 m long.
1 copper cable with PVC insulation of 25/35/50 mm² section (depending on model) and 2 m long.
1 insulated trifurcating connector.
1 1,5 m telescopic pole with three sections.
1 insulating grip for the earthing clamp.
1 plastic case to store and transport the equipment.
Composition according to customer specification.
CHARACTERISTICS
Short-circuit current "Icc": See table.
Temperature range: from -25°C to 55°C.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Place the earthing clamp in the grip and use this to fix the clamp to the earthing connection.
2. Extend the pole to its maximum length and fix it.
3. Mount the first clamp to the pole and open it. Put it on the conductor.
4. Tighten the clamp strongly to avoid any accidental loss.
5. Repeat operations 3 & 4 for the other 2 clamps.
6. For the uninstallation of the equipment, proceed in the reverse way.
MAINTENANCE
Before and after using the earthing and short-circuit equipment, clean and check all the parts if any defect is
detected, it must not be used and it must be rejected.
