Recommendations and maintenance
Straps in fabric, leather and alligator or python skin
- Avoid all contact with water (baths, showers etc) direct expo-
sure to sun rays over a longer period of time. However, des-
pite your care and attention, leather is a natural, living material
and its color will fade a little over time.
- Avoid contact with grease, solvents and other acidic fluids or
cosmetics for they may damage the bracelet.
Your watch, the case and the watch glass
- We recommend to avoid keeping your watch with other
watches, for it could cause scratches on the glass. Avoid any
contact with chemicals such as solvents, cleaning agents and
cosmetics for they can damage the joint rings.
- We recommend to avoid direct exposure to sun rays over
a longer period of time for a temperature above 60°C (140°F)
could damage the joints and so could affect the water re-
sistance.
- Avoid all violent shocks such as dropping the watch. Apart
from damaging its appearance, this can cause premature
wear in materials and components which may affect the per-
formance of the watch.
- Do not ever wear the watch while diving into the sea or pool
as the impact will produce a pressure which is in all cases
higher than the one the watch can resist to and so it could
be damaged.
- Do never pull out the crown or push any buttons while the
watch is wet or under water in order to prevent water from
getting into the movement. Should however salty water pe-
netrate the watch by accident, rinse it immediately with sweet
water and send it to our official Service Center as soon as
possible.
- Keep your watch far from strong magnetic fields as well as
from high electrostatic charge as these might damage the
movement as well as the proper functioning of the watch.
