8. Commissioning
a) Inserting Battery in the IR Remote Control, Battery Replacement
The manufacturer may already have inserted the battery in the IR remote control. In this case, remove the
transparent protective strip by simply pulling it from the battery compartment.
Open the battery compartment on the bottom by compressing the small locking lever and then pulling out the battery
compartment.
Insert a battery type CR2025 in the correct polarity and return the battery compartment into the IR remote control.
A battery change is required if the range of the IR remote control drops or if the „Grand Video Console Plus II" no longer
reacts to the IR remote control at all.
b) Connection
• First switch off all devices you want to connect to the „Grand Video Console Plus II".
• Connect the VGA input „PC IN" to the analogue VGA output of your computer's graphics card via the included VGA
cable.
• Then connect the analogue audio output of your computer (e.g. labelled „LINE-OUT" or „L-OUT" or similar, often a
green plug socket) to the „PC-Audio" socket with a suitable cable.
• Connect the VGA plug of your screen to the VGA output „VGA O/P".
• To connect an analogue video signal, e.g. from a video camera or a gaming console, use the sockets „S-VIDEO" and
„VIDEO". Matching connection cables are available as accessories and may already be included with the devices used
by you.
• Connect the two cinch sockets „AUDIO IN L/R" to the analogue audio output of the video camera or gaming console.
• The audio output „AUDIO OUT" of the „Grand Video Console Plus II" (3.5mm stereo plug socket) can also be
connected to the analogue audio input of a PC speaker or a stereo system or the screen (if the screen has integrated
speakers).
• Last, connect the round plug of the included mains adapter to the low-voltage socket „DC IN" and the mains adapter
with the mains socket.
