2. Observe work area environment conditions
- Do not expose the product to rain.
- Do not use in damp or wet locations.
- Ensure that work area environment is kept well lit (sunlight or artificial lighting).
- Do not use the product in case of fire or explosion hazard (in the presence of flammable
gases or liquids).
3. Dress properly
- Do not wear loose clothing or jewelry that could be caught in moving parts.
- Rubber gloves and non-skid footwear are recommended as well as a cap to contain long hair.
4. Use the most appropriate product and do not force the product.
- Do not force a small product or accessory to do the work of a heavy-duty product.
- Do not use the product for purposes other than those for which it is intended. The product
will do a better and safer job at its rated speed if it is used for the purposes it was designed for
5. Keep a safe distance and keep children away
- Keep yourself and others at a safe distance from the work area, the product, power cord, and
the steel cable when it is pulling under load.
- Keep bystanders (esp. children) and animals away from the work area.
- Keep the product away from children or from their environment.
Never allow children to operate the product. Children should be supervised to ensure that they
do not play with the product.
6. Do not damage the power cord
- Never move the product by dragging it by the power cable.
- Never pull the power cable to disconnect it.
- Do not step over the power cable.
- Keep the power cable away from heat, oil and sharp edges.
7. Safety at work
- Use both hands when transporting the product.
- Use proper protective equipment according to the work environment.
- Keep proper footing at all times and balance.
- If the motor overheats, stop it and leave it to cool down for a few minutes.
- Do not leave the power connected to the winch if the motor stops.
- Important: never exceed the maximum line pull ratings shown in the table.
- Do not pull loads greater than the maximal capacity of the winch.
- Do not attempt to pull stationary or fix loads.
- Do not apply any side force on the load
- Excessive inching (e.g. giving short pulses to the motor) shall be avoided.
- Never transport persons
8. Do not step over the product or steel cable
- During operation, do not step over the product or the steel cable.
9. Avoid starting the product unintentionally
-The winch clutch should be disengaged when the product is not in use, and fully engaged
when in use.
- Keep the remote control in a safe place. Ensure that the sliding protection fully covers the
functions buttons
