Listening to an External Source

Connect the PHONES jack (audio output jack) of
a portable audio player to the AUX IN jack of the
SL-D900 using a commercially available stereo
mini plug cable.

Select AUX using the FUNCTION button.

Play the source, and adjust the volume using the
VOLUME knob of the SL-D900 and of the audio
player.
When using the PHONES jack of your mini player, you
must remember to adjust the volume of the mini-
player or you may hear no sound from your SL-D900.
Do not turn the volume of the mini-player up too
high or the sound from the SL-D900 may be
distorted.
