3. Before initial use
Take the appliance out of the package and remove all the packaging material.
Take two 1.5V AAA batteries and insert them into the battery compartment at the
back of the scales. Pay attention to the correct polarity of the contacts. Place the
product only on a firm, even and dry surface.
