Troubleshooting
Likely Cause
For measurements with 11mm round
cells the adapter Z is required.
Sample coloring outside the measuring
range.
Self-Check Test stops while starting the
instrument

Electronic defect
The instrument sensors detects too
much ambient light.
Action
Insert the adapter Z into cell
compartment #2.
Press OK.
Dilute the sample or select appropriate
color scale.
Check the lamp and replace, if
necessary.
Close the lid.
Press Start Again.
Remove the cuvette/sample cell from
the cell compartment.
Press OK.
Contact the manufacturer or a sales
representative and indicate the error
number
Reduce ambient light. (Avoid direct sun
light.)
Close the lid.
