Choosing the proper rivet:
• Rivets are available in stainless steel and aluminium with three different diameters and grip ranges.
• Select a rivet with a grip range a little greater than the combined thickness of the object about to be
fastened.
• When riveting metal objects, please use rivets of the same material, aluminium rivets with aluminium
objects and stainless steel rivets with stainless steel objects. For higher strength and stronger joints, use
stainless steel rivets.
• Match the nosepiece to the corresponding rivet diameter. 3/32'', 1/8'', 5/32'' and 3/16'' nosepieces are
included with the tool.
• Back-up spacers are used when oversized holes exist and for reinforcement on soft materials such as
canvas, leather, plastic and fabric.
Operating instructions
• Determine the correct rivet diameter, material and grip range.
• Drill a hole through the objects about to be fastened with the same diameter as the rivet being used.
• Open the handles of the riveter all the way and insert the rivet stem into the workpiece all the way.
• Turn the head of the riveter to an angle that is easiest to operate.
• Place the grip range of the rivet through the holes in the objects.
• Squeeze the handles of the riveter until the rivet stem is cut off.
• When handles are released rivet stem will come out.

• Keep children and bystanders away while operating the tool.
• Store the tool out of reach of children and other untrained persons.
• Tool shall not be used in any application other that the intended use. Any other use is forbidden.
• Tool cannot be uses in an explosive environment.
