1. Se t the on/off switch [2] in the O N position. The indicator [1]
blinks.
To exe cute the test at a slowe r pace , se t the on/off switch in the
S ('slow') position. The indicator blinks slowe r.
2. Inse rt one end of the cable unde r test into the socke t in the
maste r: [3] for R J45, [4] for RJ11/RJ12.

Inse rt the othe r e nd of the cable into the sock e t in the remote
[7] for R J45, [8] for RJ11/RJ12.
The cable te st lights on the maste r [5] and on the remote [6]
light up in se que nce.
4. Afte r testing, rem ove the cable from m aste r and rem ote and se t
the on/off switch in the O FF position.

Note: Indicator G lights up
only for cables with a ground
(GND).
O pen circuit: wire 2 is broken,

Note: If le ss than two wire s in
the cable are conne cted, none
of the indicators lights up.
